About Me

My name is Sami. I married my sweet husband in 2008. We went on to live the military life and move around our country. We have five awesome kiddos together. Together we homeschool our children. Our kids are big into baseball so that doesn't leave much time for other things.

I love being with my family whether it is at the baseball fields, the pool, eating delicious food, or cuddled up on the couch under a fuzzy blanket watching some kid's show for the millionth time. We enjoy spending time with our church family and serving together. I have loved every season of parenthood so far and am excited for the seasons that are to come.

I knew I wanted to be a midwife after I had my second baby. That was my first homebirth and I knew I had to be part of empowering women in this way. The door opened to pursue midwifery. I was blessed with a wonderful apprenticeship journey while I attended Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program. I was awarded the Academic Excellence Scholarship from my school. I completed all clinical training and academic schooling allowing me to graduate in July of 2024. I am currently licensed by the North American Registry of Midwives and the state of Texas. I maintain my CPR and neonatal resuscitation.
